# How do I add membership cancellation rules?

**1. Access Your Account Settings**  
From your dashboard, click **‘My Account’** located at the bottom left of the screen.

**2. Open Settings**  
Click on **‘Membership Settings’**.

**3. Navigate to Cancellation Rules**  
Select **‘Membership Cancellation Rules’** from the settings menu.

**4. Enable Cancellation Rules**  
Use the toggles on the far right to turn cancellation rules **on or off** for:

- Memberships within the minimum contractual term
- Memberships that auto-renew after the minimum term

**5. Edit the Cancellation Policy**

Once you’ve enabled a cancellation rule, click the **‘Edit’** button next to it.

**6. Set Early Cancellation Terms**  
Enter your early cancellation policy by choosing either:

- A **fixed dollar amount**
- A **percentage of the outstanding balance**

For auto-renewing memberships, you can also set the **number of days’ notice** required for cancellation after the minimum term is fulfilled.

**7. Save Your Changes**  
Click **‘Save’** to apply your updated cancellation rules.
