To create a personalised membership and send an invitation to a client you start from your dashboard, spot the bright yellow box and click on 'Get Started'
Select 'Create Personalised Membership'
You now have two choices:
Build a membership or I know the details
Note:
Build a membership: This pathway will step you through the creation of a personalised membership, automatically calculating the number of payment instalments and the instalment amount which helps you to avoid calculation errors.
I know the details: If you already know the instalment amount and frequency, you can quickly enter the information here. This pathway does not take care of membership calculations for you.
Next enter your client's details.
Next set the length of the membership in months.
Note
Initial membership terms are typically 3-12 months, but will depend on your client, their budget, goals and your professional recommendation.
Then decide if you want the membership to auto-renew which means the membership will not expire, it will move to a month-to-month plan at the completion of the initial term.
Set the start date of this membership which will be when the first payment is made.
Tip
We recommend aligning this with when your client is next paid and setting the first payment date to the following day. This helps to ensure payments are successful.
Select whether you want your client to be able to accept the membership invitation after this date.
Be aware
If you do not check this box, and your client does not accept the invitation before the start date, the invitation link will expire.
Add in your treatments, number of treatments and price per treatment.
Tip
Add one treatment at a time.
You can add multiple treatments to this membership by clicking on + Add another. aglow will show you what the instalment amounts are once you get to Payments.
Select the payment frequency. aglow will automatically work out the number of instalments and instalment amount.
Tip
We recommend asking your client what frequency they are paid and aligning their payment frequency with their income frequency.
Select whether you want to pass the aglow fee onto your client or not.
Tip
We recommend either passing this fee onto your client OR increasing your prices to factor in your operating costs.
Add your Perks and Conditions.
Note
Perks: These are VIP benefits that your client has access to for the duration of their membership. They typically include three or more added benefits of being a member and include priority booking, retail discounts, birthday treatments, complementary upgrades, early access to new treatments and more (you can be creative here!)
Conditions: If you allow early cancelation, you should specify the cancelation penalty. We recommend at least 50% of the outstanding balance. aglow takes care of setting and enforcing the membership contract.
Review this personalised membership before sending it to your client.
You can see all of the details summarised before you send this to your client. If there are mistakes at any point you can go "Back" and make changes.
Once you are happy click "Send membership invite"
Note
Your client will receive their invite via SMS and email. Once they accept the invite, they have agreed to this contract, and their payments will begin from their first payment date.
